June 29: – An Animal Confinement Feedlot Conditional Use Permit Application has been filed by Brian Schwartz, of Schwartz Family LLC, and Reynold Christensen (landowner), pursuant to Minnesota Statute 116 and Redwood County Code of Ordinances, Title XV, Sections 153.290 and 153.142, for the construction of a swine feedlot, consisting of a total confinement barn, including 8’ deep, poured-concrete, under-floor manure storage pit, capable of housing 3,330 head of finishing swine weighing between 55-300 pounds (999 animal units), on the following described real property, situated in the County of Redwood, State of Minnesota, to wit:

The South 524.00 feet of the West 322.00 feet of the Southeast Quarter (SE1/4) of Section 14,
Township 110 North, Range 34 West, Brookville Township.

A public hearing thereon will be held before the Redwood County Planning Commission at the Planning Commission meeting starting at 1:00 o’clock p.m. on Tuesday, the 29th day of June, 2021, at the Board Room in the Redwood County Government Center located at 403 South Mill Street, Redwood Falls, MN 56283.

– An Animal Confinement Feedlot Conditional Use Permit Application has been filed by Jay Fultz, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 116 and Redwood County Code of Ordinances, Title XV, Sections 153.290 and 153.142, for the expansion of an existing swine feedlot. Said expansion will consist of the construction of a total confinement barn, including 8’ deep, poured-concrete, under-floor manure storage pit, capable of housing 2400 head of finishing swine weighing between 55-300 pounds (720 animal units). After the expansion, the feedlot will have a total animal unit count of 1,110 animal units, on the following described real property, situated in the County of Redwood, State of Minnesota, to wit:

The East Half of the Southeast Quarter (E1/2 SE1/4) of Section 21, Township 109 North, Range 39
West, Springdale Township.

-An Application for Conditional Use Permit has been filed by David Trost of Qualtek Wireless o/b/o ATT Mobility/New Cingular Wireless PCS LLC and Midwest Wireless dba Verizon Wireless (landowner) pursuant to Redwood County Code of Ordinances Sections 153.381 & 153.446. The applicant is proposing to add a 25 foot height extension to the existing 250-foot guyed telecommunications tower on the following described property, situated in the County of Redwood, State of Minnesota, to wit:

7.27 acre tract in the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (SW1/4 NW1/4) of
Section 15, Township 111 North, Range 34 West, Morgan Township.

A tract commencing at a point 600’ south of the northwest section corner, thence south 611’, thence
west 364’, thence north 611’, thence east 364’ to the point of beginning, in Section 23,
Township 111 North, Range 37 West, Vail Township.
