Woman who died in Montevideo apartment fire identified

Virginia Kruger, age 83, was the Montevideo woman who died in an apartment fire on Tuesday.

Kruger lived in the Lincoln Apartment Complex at 17th and Lincoln Avenue in Montevideo. She was discovered by fire fighters, and taken to the Chippewa County Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
