Winter Storm Watch issued for Redwood, Renville Counties

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for southwestern Minnesota, starting tonight through late Sunday evening. Heavy mixed precipitation is possible, meaning up to eight inches of snow, and a tenth of an inch of ice across central and west-central Minnesota.

The weather service warns that travel could be difficult.
