Willmar man dies in Renville County rollover Monday afternoon

A Willmar man died in a Renville County rollover on Monday afternoon.

On May 23, at about 12:46 p.m., the Renville County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a one-vehicle rollover near the intersection of Renville Co Rd 11 and 160th Street, about three miles north of Sacred Heart.

Emergency personnel determined the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, Ryan M. Hebrink, age 40, from Willmar, was deceased.  Hebrink had been traveling westbound on Co Rd 11 when he lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a curve in the road.  Hebrink’s vehicle entered the west side ditch and overturned.  Hebrink had not been wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle during the rollover.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by: Sacred Heart MRU, Sacred Heart Fire Department, Granite Falls Ambulance, MN State Patrol, Granite Falls Police Department.  North Air Care was also initially dispatched to the scene, but was later cancelled.

The crash investigation by the Renville County Sheriff’s Office and the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office is ongoing.
