Willmar, Clara City women injured in Chippewa County collision Friday

Two women were injured when their vehicles collided in Chippewa County on Friday.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on April 19 Virginia Dessin Donner, age 67, of Clara City, was traveling northbound on Highway 23 in a Kia Sorento. At about 11:39 a.m., near 150th Avenue SE, her vehicle collided with a northbound 2009 Saturn Aura being driven by McKayla Anne Allpress, age 29, of Willmar.

Both women were transported to the hospital in Willmar with non-life threatening injuries.

Assisting on the scene were the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office, the Clara City Fire and Rescue, and the Raymond Fire Department and Ambulance.
