Two men were injured Friday when a semi-truck collided with a tractor near Sleepy Eye.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on Nov. 10, Randall John Krzmarzick, age 67, of Sleepy Eye, was eastbound on Highway 14. At about 12:21 p.m., near mile marker 86 west of Sleepy Eye, Krzmarzick’s 1995 Case tractor was crashed into by an eastbound 2012 International semi-truck being driven by Michael Raymond Deraad, age 59, of Lester Prairie.

Krzmarzick was transported to the Sleepy Eye Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Deraad was transported to the Hennepin County Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Assisting on the scene were the Brown County Sheriff’s Department, the Sleepy Eye Ambulance, and Sleepy Eye Fire Department.
