Two injured in Brown County collision Wednesday
Two women and a teenaged girl were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Brown County Wednesday evening.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, an unidentified 15 year old girl was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer southbound on 250th Avenue. At the same time, Holley Anne Boney, age 23, of Springfield was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo eastbound on Highway 14. The cars collided at the intersection of those roads.
The teen was taken to the Sleepy Eye Medical Center with undisclosed injuries. The teen’s passenger, Jacklyn Terese Petermann, age 42, of Sleepy Eye, was taken to North Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Assisting on the scene were the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Sleepy Eye EMS, and Sleepy Eye Fire Department.
