Two people wanted by the Minnesota Department of Corrections were arrested for drug possession in Granite Falls Friday.

On June 30, agents of the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force located and apprehended two fugitives in the city of Granite Falls. The fugitives were arrested leaving a local hotel, and were found possessing cocaine, methamphetamine, and powdered fentanyl, as well as paraphernalia and funds believed to be proceeds of controlled substance sales.

the CEE-VI Task Force was assisted by the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office and the Granite Falls Police Department.
