Two Buffalo Lake women injured in collision with semi-truck in Renville County Tuesday
Two Buffalo Lake women were injured when their vehicle collided with a semi-truck in Renville County Tuesday.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on Nov. 29, Irma Amparo Rosales, age 20 was driving a Ford F-150 westbound on an icy Highway 212. At about 4:54 p.m., near the intersection with 500th Street, the F-150 collided with a westbound International semi-truck being driven by Matthew John Arkell, age 48, of Lamberton.
Arkell was not injured, but Rosales was transported to the hospital in Olivia with non-life threatening injuries, as was her passenger, Katerin Esmilsel Garcia-Gonzales, age 20, of Buffalo Lake.
Assisting at the scene were the Renville County Sheriff’s Office, and Hector Ambulance.
