Tracy man injured near Wabasso Thursday

A Tracy man was injured near Wabasso Thursday afternoon.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 3:35 p.m., a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Tristan Michael Hay, age 40, of Tracy, was westbound on Highway 68. As Hay was turning southbound onto Redwood County Road 6, a 2005 Chevrolet Colorado driven by William Torry Cherp, age 78, of Henderson, attempted to pass Hay on the left.

Hay was taken to the Tracy Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The Wabasso Fire Department and Ambulance assisted at the scene.
