Tracy man dies in Lyon County rollover Sunday

A Tracy man died when the vehicle he was riding in Sunday went off the road.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on Nov. 27, Choua Xiong, age 46, of Tracy, was driving a 2019 RAV4 Toyota westbound on Highway 14. At about 6 p.m., just east of Tracy, the RAV went off the road and struck some trees.

Choua Xiong was taken to the Tracy hospital with non life threatening injuries, as was her passenger, Andrew Vang, age 12, of Tracy. However, passenger Thai Vang, age 53, died from injuries from the crash.

Assisting at the scene were the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, Tracy Fire Department, and Tracy Ambulance.
