Three injured in Kandiyohi County collision Sunday

Three people were injured in a Kandiyohi County collision Sunday afternoon.

At 5:22 pm the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two vehicle motor vehicle crash with injuries.  A 1998 international semi was driven by 61-year-old James Slagter of Willmar. A 2008 Chevy avalanche was driven by 79 year old Laverne Liebl of Wabasso and his passenger, 52 year old Lori Iverson of Belview.

Slagter was Westbound on 75th Ave SW and failed to yield to Liebl who was southbound on 105th St Sw. All parties were transported by ambulance with minor injuries.

Kandiyohi County rescue squad and the Minnesota State Patrol.
