Southwest Minnesota could see a brown Christmas this year

Despite snow predicted for the upper part of the state, many Minnesotans are wondering whether southwestern Minnesita have a white Christmas, after this past week’s spring-like weather in much of the state.

The National Weather Service says it’s too early to predict, but does say if we go another week or so with no snow on the ground and no real signs of any major weather systems, than it’s more likely we might be seeing a potential brown Christmas.
