South Dakota man injured in Brown County crash
A South Dakota man was injured when his vehicle went off the road in Brown County Wednesday.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on Nov. 23, James Edwin Schmaedeke, age 71, was eastbound on Highway 14. At about 10:30 p.m., Schmaedeke lost control of his Ford 500 and rolled it, stopping in the ditch.
Schmaedeke was taken to the hospital in New Ulm with non-life threatening injuries.
Assisting at the scene were the Sleepy Eye Police Department and Ambulance, and the Brown County Sheriff’s Office.
