Two Sleepy Eye teenagers and a Garden City man were injured in a Brown County collision Monday morning.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at a few minutes to noon on Feb. 27, a 16-year old male was driving a 1996 Dodge Ram southbound on Highway 4, while Cory Robert Brooks, age 34, of Garden City was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer westbound on County Road 22. At the intersection of those roads, the vehicles collided.

The 16-year old male was transported to the Sleepy Eye Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, as was his passenger, a 17 year old Sleepy Eye female, and Brooks.

Assisting on the scene were the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, the Sleepy Eye Police Department, EMS, and Fire Department.
