Sleepy Eye man injured in collision with semi Monday morning
A Sleepy Eye man was injured when his vehicle slid into an oncoming semi-truck Monday morning.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 8:56 a.m. on Dec. 30, Elliott Roy Waterbury, age 33, of Sleepy Eye was eastbound on Highway 14 near 250th Avenue. Waterbury’s 2016 GMC Terrain lost control on the icy highway, and collided with an oncoming 2008 International semi-tractor driven by Mark Steven Kehn, age 49, of New Ulm.
Waterbury was taken to the Sleepy Eye Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The Brown County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
