A Note from the Renville County Historical Society Regarding the COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

For the safety of our staff, volunteers, and visitors, the Renville County Historical Society is temporarily closed to the PUBLIC March 17, 2020 –  April 3, 2020, at which time the Board will further evaluate the situation.

While we are temporarily closed and monitoring the situation, staff will still be working (unless they are sick, quarantining or at high risk), so we will be checking emails and phone messages. We will be answering research requests via email ([email protected]) and phone 507-697-6147. Click here for a Research Request Form. You can still shop our gift store online. Take a moment and check out the different pages of our website including the Share Your Story and Blog pages.

History is very important and we are writing new history in this current situation. By closing temporarily to the public, we hope to do our part to slow the spread of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and keep our staff and volunteers safe by following the recommended guidelines. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we want everyone to stay healthy. Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,

Nicole Elzenga, Executive Director
