Redwood Falls man sentenced for multiple felony sexual assaults that occurred decades earlier

A Redwood Falls man, Todd Allen Norcross, age 40, was sentenced in Redwood County Court for multiple felony-level sexual assaults that occurred decades earlier.

According to court documents, in Feb. 2022 a victim approached the Redwood Falls Police Department to report three incidents of having been assaulted by Norcross when she was in her early teens. The victim stated she had not come forward earlier because she thought no one would believe her.

However, the victim was able to produce a recent text message from a witness who had lived in that house at the time, and who acknowledged having been aware of the assaults.

On April 1, Norcross was sentenced to 52 months in the correctional facility in St. Cloud, stayed for five years, supervised probation for five years, 273 days local confinement, and fines and fees of $2,381.
