One person suffered non-life threatening injuries when three vehicles collided in Kandiyohi County on Friday.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on Nov. 10, Wilmer Jose Herrera Rosales, age 35, of Montevideo, was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse eastbound on Highway 23. At about 5:16 p.m., near milepost 136, Rosales’ vehicle was crashed into by a westbound 2013 Toyota Sienna being driven by Katherine Lynn Zempel, age 45, of Granite Falls, and a 2001 Mercedes C being driven by Alvaro Antonio Rayo, age 32.

Zempel was the only person who suffered injuries, and was taken to Rice Memorial Hospital.

Assisting on the scene were the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, Raymond Fire Department and Ambulance, and Lifelink III Air.
