Officers arrested three people after a fight broke out at a Willmar home early Monday morning.

At about 2:01 a.m. on April 1, Willmar Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of 22nd Ave SW on the report of an intoxicated male refusing to leave a residence. Officers arrived and found a large gathering of people at the home.
As officers were gathering information and mediating the situation, a fight broke out between several people at the home. Officers called for additional assistance. One officer was attacked by a suspect as he was attempting to break up the fight.
With the assistance of additional officers and use of pepper spray, officers were able to stop the fight and arrest three of the assailants. All three remain in the Kandiyohi County Jail pending charges of:
• 29 year old female from Willmar for 5th Degree Assault & Disorderly Conduct
• 26 year old male from Willmar for Obstructing Legal Process, 3rd Degree Riot & Kidnapping (confinement)
• 48 year old female from Willmar for 5th Degree Assault, Disorderly Conduct and 3rd Degree Riot
