Montevideo man injured in Big Stone County accident Wednesday

A Montevideo man was injured in a Big Stone County accident Wednesday morning.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 10:08 a.m. on Aug. 26, Jeremy L. Shourds, age 41, of Montevideo, was eastbound on Highway 7 in his 2006 Ford pickup. Shourds lost control of his vehicle, overturned, and left the roadway into the eastbound ditch.

Shourds was transported to the Ortonville Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Assisting on the scene were the Big Stone County Sheriff’s Office, Beardsley Fire Department and first responders, and the Ortonville Ambulance.
