A Marshall man, Deven James Anderson, age 25, was sentenced in Redwood County Court for a felony-level assault in Walnut Grove last summer.

According to court documents, on July 19, 2023, a Redwood County deputy was called to a Walnut Grove residence on a report of an assault. The victim stated Anderson had struck him in the head with a metal folding chair, and that he could not hear out of his left ear.
