Man shot in southeast Willmar Tuesday

Willmar police say a man was shot and wounded in southeast Willmar Tuesday morning. His name and current condition are unknown.

Willmar Police Captain Mike Anderson says at 9:48 a.m. officers were called to the 1300 Block of Dana Drive Southeast. When they got there, they found the 25 year old victim lying in the street, and a 26 year old man who was holding a gun surrendered and was arrested.

The incident is under investigation.
