Man found deceased in pickup truck in Redwood County Tuesday evening
A man was found dead in a pickup truck in Redwood County on Tuesday evening.
According to the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, at about 10:40 p.m. on Dec. 12, Redwood County Sheriff’s office received information on a driving complaint on a vehicle had been reported to have driven in and out of the ditch on CSAH 4 near CSAH 6.
While attempting to locate the reported vehicle, a State Patrol Trooper located a pickup truck that appeared to have left the roadway and crashed in a field near the intersection of 140th St and Garden Ave. The State Trooper determined that the driver was not breathing and did not have a pulse at the time of discovery. Life saving efforts were attempted, however, the male driver, identified as Randall Fleshner age 54, was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personel. It is believed that the driver was not wearing a seat belt which contributed to the severity of the injuries.
Assisting on scene were the Lamberton Ambulance, Lamberton Fire Department, Centra Care Ambulance, and North Memorial Air Care.
