Kickin’ Cancer to Match Gifts that Benefit CentraCare – Redwood Cancer Patients
Redwood Falls, Minn. — CentraCare is helping to support local cancer patients through a matching gift from Kickin’ Cancer – Redwood County.
Kickin’ Cancer will match up to $10,000 for any new gifts received by Dec. 31. The Foundation’s year-end giving campaign is focused on raising money for the Cancer Support Fund, which helps local patients and their families undergoing cancer treatment at CentraCare facilities.
Gifts to the fund will help provide support for transportation, lodging and other financial hardships patients can experience during their treatment.
“We are fortunate to have the expertise and the latest treatments, close to home, to effectively manage or cure a wide range of cancers,” said Cindy Moldan, RN, OCN, CentraCare – Redwood Cancer Coordinator. “Unfortunately, many patients with cancer experience financial challenges during their treatment if they need to take a significant amount of time off work or travel for care.”
All donations to CentraCare – Foundation designated for Redwood Cancer Support Fund will be doubled if received by Dec. 31. Donations can be made online centracare.com/foundation/ways-to-give/. Donations also can be mailed to CentraCare Foundation, 1406 Sixth Avenue North, St. Cloud, MN 56303-1901. Please include “Redwood Cancer Support Fund” in the check memo.
