The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office responded to multiple motor vehicle crashes due to inclement weather conditions Tuesday and Wednesday:
• On 11/15/2022 at 7:41 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the area of Highway 12 and Kandi-Swift Rd NW in regards to a vehicle that went into the ditch.
• On 11/15/2022 at  7:50 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Babcock Ave W and 3rd Ave W in Raymond in regards to a two vehicle motor vehicle crash. Both vehicles had minor damage and there was no injuries to the occupants of the vehicles.
• On 11/15/2022 at 8:12 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to the 4400 block of County Rd 5 NW in regards to a single motor vehicle rollover. No injuries were reported for this incident.
• On 11/15/2022 at 8:22 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of 105th St SW and 105th Ave SW in regards to a single motor vehicle rollover. Minor injuries were reported. Assisting the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s was the Raymond Fire Department, Raymond Ambulance, Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad, and CentraCare EMS.
• While responding to the rollover on 105th St SW and 105th Ave SW, a deputy observed a vehicle in the ditch near Highway 23 SW and 75th St SW. The vehicle was unoccupied and was later towed out of the ditch.
• On 11/15/2022 at 2:55 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to 24000 block of County Rd 5 NW in regards to a single motor vehicle accident with injuries. Responding deputies were notified that a garbage truck had tipped over on its side and the driver of the vehicle was injured. The driver of the truck was later transported by New London Ambulance to CentraCare Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, to be treated for injuries. Assisting the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office was the New London Fire Department, New London Ambulance, Lakes Area Responders, Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad, and CentraCare EMS.
• On 11/16/2022 at 7:07 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to the intersection of Hwy 71 & 113th Ave NE for a two vehicle crash. Both vehicles had minor damage and there was no injuries to the occupants of the vehicles
