Echo man injured in Redwood County crash Monday afternoon

A man from Echo was injured in a Redwood County crash Monday afternoon.

At about 5:25 p.m., Daryl Thomas Kuehn, age 67,of Echo, was traveling northward on CSAH 13 in a Ford F-150 pickup truck. At the intersection with CSAH 16, a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Drew Carl Baune, age 27, of Waverly, pulled in front of Kuehn’s pickup truck, causing the two vehicles to collide. 

Kuehn was transported from the scene by ambulance to Carris Health – Redwood, while his passenger sustained no injuries. Baune and his two passengers did not sustain any injuries. 

The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by Morgan Ambulance and Fire, Carris Ambulance, and Clements First Responders.
