Two drivers escaped injury when their vehicles collided in Renville County on Monday.

According to the Renville County Sheriff’s Office, on Sept. 11 at about 1:30 p.m, the  Renville County Sheriff’s Office learned of a two-vehicle crash involving  a semi and a pickup at the intersection of County Roads 1 and 11, about three miles north of Danube. 

Investigation revealed a 2015 Freightliner, driven by 44 year old Aaron Hockert of Rice, was traveling northbound on County Road 1. A 2022 Dodge Ram, driven by 45 year old Chadron Mclaughlin of Elko New Market, was traveling westbound on County Road 11 and did not yield to the semi, causing the collision.  

Assisting on scene were the Renville County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota State  Patrol, Danube Police Department, Renville Police Department, Danube Fire  Department, Danube Medical Response Unit (MRU), and Olivia Ambulance
