Blomkest woman injured in Kandiyohi County collision Saturday

A Blomkest women was injured in a collision in Kandiyohi County Saturday evening.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 6:22 p.m., Debra Jo Tonsfeldt, age 68, of Blomkest, was driving a Ford Edge southbound on Highway 71. Kyle August Hagstrom, age 30, of Willmar, was driving a 2003 the same direction. The vehicles collided at mile post 120.

Tonsfeldt was transported to Rice Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Assisting on the scene were the Willmar Police and Fire Departments, and the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office and Rescue.
