The Redwood Area Chamber & Tourism is moving forward with the Annual Fall Festival 2020 in downtown Redwood Falls on Saturday, Sept. 26.
Jen Franklin, from the Redwood Area Chamber & Tourism, stated, “We’ve got a great variety of craft and retail vendors coming to the Festival this year. People are looking forward to an annual event that hasn’t been canceled.
To ensure a safe outdoor environment for the Fall Festival, the Chamber has made some adjustments to the typical Fall Festival schedule and some of the traditional activities. Face-painting, human foosball, and their signature Princess Camp had to take a hiatus this year due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Extra spacing will be factored in the downtown street layout this year, and vendors will be setting up their booth tables to accommodate physical distancing from customers. Masks are required for vendors and encouraged for event attendees, and physical distancing is expected in an effort to keep everyone safe and to follow MNSafe protocol and CDC guidelines. Redwood Area Chamber & Tourism has also created an Event Preparedness Plan for Fall Festival 2020.
The Annual Fall Festival 2020 on Saturday, September 26, is 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. in downtown Redwood Falls.
