Steven Lingle age 67, of Lamberton, MN died on June 10, 2021, at his home in Lamberton, MN.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Sturm Funeral Home, Lamberton Chapel and will continue on Wednesday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at the Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Lamberton, MN.

Service will be held at the Our Savior’s Lutheran Church on Wednesday at 10:30 am.

The clergy will be Chaplain Noel Wetter. Interment will be at the Lamberton Cemetery.

Steven Wesley Lingle was born on May 10, 1954, in Springfield, MN the son of Leon and Evelyn (Petersen) Lingle.  He has lived in Lamberton his entire life, graduating from Lamberton High School in 1972.  Steve then attended Granite Falls Vo-Tech for Autobody.  On January 18, 1975, Steve was united in marriage to Debra Frericks at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Wabasso, MN.  He worked as a mechanic and welder for Meadowland and for the last 13 years he has been employed at Elevator Works.  Steve was very talented and could fix everything.  He enjoyed collecting John Deere whether big or small, riding his Harley, camping, grilling, having a beer by the fire, listening to Classic Rock, the solitude and peacefulness of cutting wood, spending time with his grandchildren and grandpups – Finn and Lucy.

He is survived by his wife – Deb of Lamberton; children – Matt of Whitefish, MT, Mandy (CJ) of Sioux Falls, SD, and Shea (Steph) of New Ulm, MN; grandchildren – Camryn, Zander, Nora, Anika, Stella, and one on the way; siblings – Kristine (Mike), Dean (Deb), Lisa (Tony), Lori (Mark), Brian (Kristine), James (Valentina), and Dan (Darla); mother-in-law – Connie Frericks; many in-laws, several nieces and nephews.  Steve was preceded in death by his parents Leon and Evelyn; father-in-law – Harold Frericks; grandparents – Alfred and Betty Lingle and Otto and Kristine Petersen; brother-in-law – Jerry Frericks; niece – Felicity Lingle; and a best fur friend – Ryder.
