Steve Shellum

Steve Shellum, age 69, of Sartell, MN, formerly of St. James, MN, passed away unexpectedly on April 5, 2022, at the St. Cloud Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at the St. Olaf Lutheran Church, rural Odin, on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 11:00 am. Visitation will take place at the church one hour prior to the service.

The clergy will be Rev. Andy Hermodson-Olsen. Interment will be at the St. Olaf Church Cemetery at a later date.

Steve Shellum was born on September 24, 1952 to Leona and Marland Shellum in St. James. He was baptized in East Sveadahl and confirmed in St. Olaf. Steve attended Butterfield High School and graduated with the class of 1970. Steve and Deb were married in 1978 in St. James. The couple was blessed with their daughter, Tracy, in 1984.

Steve enjoyed his work in sales. He lived a full life, finding friends everywhere he went. He enjoyed fishing, drag racing, fixing cars, watching sunsets but most of all spending time with family and friends.

Steve is survived by his wife, Deb Shellum, and daughter, Tracy Shellum; mother, Leona Shellum; and siblings, Jeanette Sturm and Dennis Shellum.
