Stephen Anthony Millerbernd

Stephen Anthony Millerbernd, age 75, of Renville, died Saturday, September 23, 2023, at his home south of Renville.  A Celebration of his life will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023, from 5-7 p.m.at the Renville Community Center.  Burial with military honors will be 4:00 p.m. Monday in Fairview Cemetery in Renville.  Arrangements are with Dirks-Blem Funeral Services, Renville, MN.

Stephen Anthony Millerbernd was born on August 5, 1948, in Renville, Minnesota to Marcel Anthony and Esther Jennie (Schneiderman) Millerbernd. He grew up in Renville and graduated from Renville High School.  Following high school, Steve served his country in the United States Navy.  He worked for 30 plus years helping Brainerd Wein, Lloyd Zabel, Rick and Brian Schmidt farm.  Even after retiring, Steve continued to help with spring planting and fall harvest.

Steve enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing, and agate hunting in Montanna with Rose at his side.

He is survived by his sons: Tony (and Brian) Millerbernd of Wichita, KA, Will Millerbernd of Renville, and Rob (and Nikki) Millerbernd of Renville; his grandchildren: Autumn, Hayleigh, Eliza, Natalie, and Wyatt; his sisters and brother: Chris (and Todd) Carlson of Willmar, Barb (and Paul) Beck of Alexandria, and Jim (and Bonnie) Millerbernd of Terry, Montana; and other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Rose Kleven, his brother Michael, his sister and brother-in-law, Jeanette and Larry Roos, and his brother-in-law Robert Throngard.
