Roger Lance Brink

Roger Lance Brink, age 79, of Renville, died on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at the St. Cloud Hospital.  Funeral services will be Monday, March 14, at 11:00 a.m. at First Lutheran Church in Renville.  The Rev. Trevor Bailey will officiate.  Burial will be at a later date in Fairview Cemetery in Renville.  Visitation will be Monday one hour prior to the services at the church in Renville.  Arrangements are with Dirks-Blem Funeral Service, Renville.

Roger Lance Brink was born on June 27, 1942, in Willmar, Minnesota to Delmar and Lorraine (Beyer) Brink.  He grew up in Renville and attended school at Renville Public Schools.  At the age of 15, Roger began working for Duininck Brothers Construction in Prinsburg, a career that lasted 50 years.  He was united in marriage to Winness Brelie on February 17, 1962, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sacred Heart.  They lived in Willmar until moving to Renville in 1968.  Roger enjoyed woodworking, fishing, watching Gunsmoke and game shows, and taking ride on his four wheeler and his Ranger.  He was a member of First Lutheran Church in Renville.

Roger is survived by his wife Winness, his daughters and their spouses: Lynette (and Richard) Schroeder of Kenosha, WI, Jodi (and James) March of Grand Chute, WI, and Heather (and Jason) Wertish of Renville; his six grandchildren: Jenna (and Peter), Austin, Reilly, Spencer, Taylor, and Jackson; sisters and brother: Bonnie Martinez of Hutchinson, Debbie (and Jesse) Hernandez of Bakersfield, CA, Muff (and Sharon) Brink of Renville, and Delmarie (and Chuck ) Steinbeisser of Willmar; his mother-in-law Lorraine Brelie, and his brother and sister-in-law: Debra (and James) Eliason, and Galen (and Mary) Brelie; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law Palmer Brelie.
