The funeral service for Randall “Randy” Kletscher, 50, of Vesta, will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Vesta.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the church.  Interment will follow the service at the Vesta Cemetery.  A livestream and recording of the service will be available on the St. John’s Lutheran Church Facebook page.

Randall “Randy” Shawn Kletscher was born on April 18, 1971, in Redwood Falls, MN, to Harold and Marilyn (Knudson) Kletscher.  He grew up in Vesta and was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Vesta.  He graduated from Wabasso High School in 1989.  Randy worked for his father at “Harold’s Service Station” in Vesta during high school.  He worked at a Territorial Salesman for Arnold’s Motor Supply for over 30 years.  He was enthusiastic about his job and enjoyed his many customers.  On September 6, 2008, he was united in marriage to Erin Ochocki at Green Lake in Spicer.  They were the proud parents of daughter Callie.  Randy was an active member of his community.  He was a volunteer fireman for the Vesta Fire Department for 28 years and served on the Vesta City Council and St. John’s Lutheran Church Council.  He enjoyed his bowling league in Marshall and spending weekends at Elmwood Resort at Lake Mary near Alexandria.  Randy was an avid Minnesota Gopher football fan.  He also enjoyed fishing, four wheeling, and cuddling with his daughter, Callie.

Randy died unexpectedly at his residence in Vesta on Saturday, January 15, 2022.  He is survived by his wife, Erin, and daughter, Callie, of Vesta, mother Marilyn, also of Vesta, siblings Jeff Kletscher of Floodwood, Dawn Tietz of Morgan and Tim (and Susie) Kletscher of Benson, parents-in-law William and Pam Ochocki of Hendricks, sister-in-law Jennifer (and Chris) Erion of Clarkfield and brother-in-law Jared Ochocki of Hendricks and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Harold, brother-in-law Rich Tietz and friend David Meier.
