Phyllis Tiegs

Phyllis Tiegs, age 100, of California died November 13, 2024. Funeral services will be Friday, November 22, at 11:00 a.m. at Dirks-Blem Funeral Home in Olivia. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Renville.

Phyllis was born March 7, 1924 in Grafton, North Dakota to Arthur Kramer and Antonia (Butenhoff). She married Theodore Tiegs on September 23, 1942 in Athens, Georgia.

Phyllis is survived by two daughters, three grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. She is pre-deceased by her parents, husband, two sisters and four brothers.

Never. We never truly lose our loved ones.

They accompany us, they don’t disappear from our lives.

We are merely in different rooms.
