On November 20, 1957, he was united in marriage to the love of his life Julia Gagnon at St. Clotide in Green Valley, MN. The couple made their home on the family farm until they moved to Marshall in 2015. Farming was Perry’s passion. He was a dairy farmer until 2000. He then continued to farm until Guillian Barre’ made it difficult. Along with his wife, his son and daughter helped. His grandsons joined later. He continued to farm until his death.

He was a man that loved his family. Always determined not to be held back by his health problems having perseverance and dedication – encouraging his grandchildren and great grandchildren to work hard, be good and when you grow up you will do well!

Perry was a jokester. He loved to kid around and see others laugh. He loved doing puzzles in the winter with his wife. Playing cards with family. Watching tennis until all hours of the night, baseball, football and old westerns. Hearing about the sports his grandchildren and great grandchildren were involved in.
