June the daughter of Leslie and Margaret (Blanchard) Harden, was born on February 11, 1939, in Creston, Iowa. June attended Morgan High School and graduated with the class of 1957. It was during this time that she met the love of her life, Alvin J. Goblirsch. On September 3, 1958, June and Alvin exchanged vows at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Morgan, Minnesota. Their marriage was a testament to their unwavering commitment and lasted over three decades until Alvin’s passing on December 14, 1990.

After graduating from high school, June embarked on a distinguished career with Control Data where she worked diligently for over 34 years until her retirement in May of 2001.
Following the loss of her husband Alvin, June found love and companionship once again with James Goblirsch. On May 24, 1997, they were married at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Redwood Falls. Their union brought joy and happiness into their lives and blossomed into a beautiful partnership that lasted until June’s final days.

She loved listening to country music and traveling to new places. However, nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She cherished every moment she had with them and passed down a legacy of love that will be forever treasured by each generation.

June is survived by James Goblirsch, her loving husband of Redwood Falls; Debra (Steve) Koenig, her daughter of Redwood Falls; Randy Goblirsch, her son of Bloomington; Sharon (Steve) Pohlen, her daughter of Redwood Falls; Shelly Koenig, Nicki Koenig, Shawn Koenig, Camron (Kim) Pohlen, Kayla “La” Pohlen, Luke Pohlen, and Isaac Pohlen, her cherished grandchildren; and Julianna “Jules” Pohlen, Jett Pohlen, and Jack Pohlen, her adored great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Earl Harden, Charles Harden, Wayne Harden, and Betty (Harden) Voge. June’s grandson Aaron Pohlen also preceded her in death.

May she rest in eternal peace knowing that her legacy lives on through those she loved and inspired.
