Mark Meuhlberg, age 58, of St. Joseph, MO died Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Mosaic Medical Center in St. Joseph, Missouri.  Mass of Christian Burial is Friday, September 17, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Olivia with Rev. Joe Steinbeisser as celebrant.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Visitation is on Friday from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the church.  Arrangements by Dirks-Blem Funeral Service, Olivia, MN.

Mark Anthony Meuhlberg was born in Olivia, Minnesota on May 30, 1963 to Lee and Margaret (Houdek) Meuhlberg.  He grew up in Olivia and attended St. Aloysius Grade School and continued his education at Olivia High School.   Mark worked in construction for 43 years as a welder/craftsman and steel erection crane operator.  He enjoyed metal art and made piggy banks, jewelry and a battle ax out of different types of metal.  Mark even found time to sew his own custom welding hats.  He was full of life, always happy and had a great attitude.

Mark is survived by his children: Kelsey (Nick) Phillips of St. Cloud, Jessica Williams of Hutchinson, Devin Billings of Olivia, Christina (Derek) Hebrink of Renville, Shane (Misty) Meuhlberg of Bird Island; his wife, Robin Meuhlberg of Olivia; his parents Lee Meuhlberg of Okoboji, IA and Margaret Meuhlberg of Olivia; his seven grandchildren: Ethan Lund, Brody Phillips, Cailynn Vait, Derek Hebrink Jr., Scarlett Hebrink, Tristan Hebrink and Tucker Meuhlberg; his siblings: Leann Fischer of New London, Michelle Bryce of Broken Arrow, OK, Linda (Marco) Curriel of Willmar; and other important people: Janae Langhoff, Donna Farrens, Kelsey Stillman, and Brady Farrens. Mark is preceded in death by grandparents: Tony and Rose Meuhlberg and Stanley and Irene Houdek.
