Marjorie Marie Fesenmaier was born April 22, 1929 at home in Henryville Township near Bechyn to John and Anna (Kodet) Zetah.  She grew up in the area and attended District 104 Country School.  Marjorie was united in marriage to Bernard Fesenmaier on October 8, 1949 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bechyn and they were blessed with ten children. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, sewing, gardening, and traveling. She loved to do crossword puzzles and play ‘Words with Friends.’ Marjorie was a dedicated member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church where she helped with the CCW. She was big on community involvement. Marjorie had a passion for volunteering and was awarded ‘Volunteer of the Year’ in 1993; she helped with the local blood drives, served on the park boards, as election judge, and gave support to our Veterans. Being up to date on current events and technology was important to her. She was a fantastic cook and always had a steady supply of candy and cookies for those that visited. Her dedication to her family was admirable; she offered a listening ear free of judgment and had an open heart and door to all. If you weren’t really related to her it wasn’t long until you thought of her as another mom figure. Marjorie will be remembered for her deep faith, thoughtfulness, and welcoming personality.

Marjorie is survived by her children: Dave (Jan) Fesenmaier of Elk River, Cheryl (Tom) Carlson of Eden Prairie, Bob (Cathi) Fesenmaier of Olivia, Jayne (Jim) Boersma of Olivia, Russ Fesenmaier of Olivia, Greg (Judy) Fesenmaier of Burnsville, Lee (Lori) Fesenmaier of St. Cloud, Judy (Marty) Mathis of Edina, Dean (Mary) Fesenmaier of St. Cloud, and Scott (Laura) Fesenmaier of Sartell; her 23 grandchildren; her 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Anna; husband, Bernard; and her nine siblings.

Blessed Be Her Memory
