Kyle Minnick

Kyle Minnick, age 41, of Olivia, MN passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Regency Hospital in Golden Valley, MN. Funeral services will be on Thursday, August 22, at 2:00 p.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Bird Island with Minister Kari Schumaker officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Bird Island City Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dirks-Blem Funeral Service of Olivia.

Kyle Minnick was born on May 29, 1983 in Edina, Minnesota to Jerry Minnick and Teresa Bergerson. Kyle attended Burnsville High School and graduated in 2001. Kyle had worked at Jackpot Junction in Morton, MN for the past 11 years. In his spare time Kyle enjoyed hunting, fishing, gaming and reading. Tragically, Kyle’s life was cut short due to complications following a stroke he suffered on May 9, 2024.

Kyle is survived by parents, Jerry Minnick of Olivia, MN and Teresa Bergerson of Apple Valley MN; his sister, Katie Fischer (Shawn) of Farmington MN; his brother, Michael Taute of Shakopee, MN; his three nephews: Nathaniel, Miles and Tanner Fischer; his godparents, Sandra and Tim Peterson of Thief River Falls, MN; and grandmother, Char Hansen of Burnsville, MN. He leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends who will cherish his memory forever. He was preceded in death by grandparents: Dwane and Eleanor Minnick, Donald and RoseMarie Bergerson, and Douglas Hansen.

Rest in peace, Kyle Minnick. You will be deeply missed and always loved and remembered.
