Kevin Chris Balsley

Kevin Chris Balsley, age 59, of White Bluff, Tennessee went to his heavenly glory Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at his home. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2023, from Nelson-Hillestad Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Nelson-Hillestad Funeral Home in Redwood Falls.

Kevin was born on May 29, 1963 in Fairmont, MN and was raised in Morton, MN. He was confirmed in Zion Lutheran Church in Morton.

He graduated from Morton High School where he excelled at football, basketball, and baseball. After graduation he attended Worthington College.  Kevin served 14 years in the US Army National Guard and worked as a heavy equipment Operating Engineer for many years.

Kevin enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially a day on the lake fishing. He will be remembered by those that loved him for his humor, his generous heart, and his intense love for his family and friends.

He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 20 years, Michelle Freis Balsley; his daughter Nickole Balsley of New Prague, MN; his son, Cole Balsley of Garvin, MN; his sister Paulette Thompson of Morton, MN; his sister Dawn (Dean) Maertens of Morton, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his many pets, who he loved caring for and who brought him so much joy.

Kevin was preceded in death by his mother Lorene Blom Balsley; his father Earl Balsley; his brothers Michael Balsley and Corwin Balsley, and his sister Debra Balsley.
