Kenneth Schmidt

The funeral service for Kenneth Schmidt, 77, of Wood Lake, will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 9, at St. John’s Evangilical Lutheran Church in Wood Lake.  Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. on  Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at Sunset Funeral Home in Echo.  Visitation will continue from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the church.  Interment with military honors will take place at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Wood Lake.

After a brief illness, Kenneth died on Sunday, January 5, 2020, surrounded by family at his residence in Wood Lake.
