Judy Ann Fidler was born on October 20, 1948 as the third of five children to Roman and Irene (Beens) Fidler of Lucan, MN. She attended Our Lady of Victory School in Lucan and St. Anne’s Area High School in Wabasso. Judy spent her working years in a variety of roles, including at Control Data (Zytec) and providing cleaning services for families in the Redwood area. Known for her strong work ethic, she dedicated herself to her work while always prioritizing her family, ensuring her children grew up in a safe and loving home.

Judy loved connecting with others and formed many lasting friendships throughout her life. She loved spending time with friends, enjoying activities like bingo, playing cards, listening to music, and dancing. A devoted Elvis fan, she cherished her memorable trip to Graceland, where she celebrated her admiration for the King of Rock and Roll. She had a knack for finding treasures at garage sales, delighting in the thrill of the hunt. After moving to Garnette Gardens, she discovered a supportive community that welcomed her and allowed her to make new friends.

Judy is survived by her children, Laurie (Robert) Kodet of Northfield, MN, and Larry (Ammie) Zachow of New Mexico; nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; her sister Diane (Dan) Clarke of Willmer, MN; her brother Robert (Gloria) Fidler of Bloomington, MN, sister-in-law Janelle Fidler of Appleton, MN; and special friend Curt Ulven of Redwood Falls, MN. She was preceded in death by her brothers Raymond Fidler and Roman Fidler.

Blessed be her memory.
