JoAnn Pfarr, age 68, of Lamberton, MN died on January 14, 2022, at St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Lamberton, MN.

Service will be held at the church on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 11:00 am.

The clergy will be Todd Mathison. Interment will be at the Lamberton Cemetery.

JoAnn Kay Pfarr, age 68 of Lamberton, left this world to be with Jesus on Friday, January 14, 2022, surrounded by loved ones at her side. JoAnn was born April 20, 1953, at Springfield Hospital to Martin and Adelle (Meier) Pfarr who farmed near Lamberton. She attended Lamberton Public School and was a lifelong member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.After high school JoAnn moved to Redwood Falls where she worked a variety of jobs. JoAnn frequently came home on weekends to help on the farm with the cooking and shopping, plus gardening and canning. She enjoyed collecting cookbooks, trying out a wide variety of recipes. JoAnn also enjoyed shopping, being with family and attending birthday and holiday parties, plus extended family reunions. She did some traveling in nearby states. JoAnn retired four years ago, moving back to Lamberton to help her sister Beverly on their farm.

She is survived by sisters – Beverly Pfarr of Lamberton, Bonnie (Dean) Koerner of Paynesville, and Janice (Jerry) Swanberg of New Brighton, and brothers – Vernon, Marlon, Roger (Roxie), and Glen (Chris) Pfarr, all of Lamberton; nephews – Alex, Josh, Joe & Devin and nieces Alyssa & Melanie, plus great nieces & nephews. JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents Martin and Adelle.
