Jeanette Ann Guhlke

Jeanette Ann Guhlke age 73, of Springfield, MN passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 30, 2021, at Good Samaritan Center, Winthrop, MN.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye.

Service will be held at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye, on Tuesday at 11:00 am.

The clergy will be Father Mark Steffl. Interment will be at the Brookville-Dannebod Cemetery in Rural Sleepy Eye, MN.

Jeanette Anne (Dauer) Guhlke was born in New Ulm on June 16th, 1948 to Julius and Florence (Roberts) Dauer. She married Dennis on November 7th, 1970 in New Ulm. Together, they raised their 3 children, Dwayne, Jennifer and John. She enjoyed reading, cooking for her family, attending flee markets, and volunteering at church.

Jeanette is survived by her loving husband, Dennis Guhlke of Springfield; her 3 children and their spouses, Dwayne “Butch” (Andrea) Guhlke of Springfield, Jennifer (Antony) Motl of Savage, and John Guhlke of Sleepy Eye; 4 grandchildren, Camden and Kadree Guhlke, and Lucas and Jacob Motl. She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Albert and Philip Dauer.
