Jacob Lee Peterson was born September 22, 1994 to Madonna (Polzine) and Patrick Peterson in Marshall, Minnesota. He attended Tracy Area High School, where he was a member of the Panther Wrestling team as well as the Trap shooting team. Jacob graduated Tracy Area High School in the spring of 2013. After graduation, Jacob moved to the Twin Cities and began his career working for DDR Mechanical installing HVACR equipment. After doing that for a short time, he decided to move back to the southwest Minnesota area and has been working for SS Electric since the fall of 2014 as an Apprentice Electrician. Jacob truly enjoyed this work and considered his employer and colleagues to be a second family. He had a love for the outdoors. Jacob enjoyed hunting, fishing, and had recently taken up golf with his friends. He was a proud owner to his golden retriever, Buddy, whom he had recently gotten in December of 2020. Jacob was also a phenomenal uncle to two beautiful nieces. Any time he visited them he was one of the kids. He would spend much of the time playing and laughing with them. Jacob will be missed by all.
