Ima Sedelia Wing age 99, of Comfrey, MN died on March 11, 2021, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield, MN.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the New Hope Lutheran Church in Comfrey, MN.
Service will be held at the New Hope Lutheran Church on Friday at 2:00 pm.

The clergy will be Jerome Klotz. Interment will be at the New Hope Faith Lutheran Cemetery in Comfrey, MN.

Ima Freeman was born on September 25, 1921 in Adrian Township, Watonwan County, MN to Peter and Edith (Olson) Freeman. She was baptized and confirmed at West Svedahl Lutheran Church and attended country school in West Svedahl. Ima met Eadell Wing at a Luther League Convention and it was love at first sight. On January 22, 1941 they were united in marriage at the East Svedahl Lutheran Church Parsonage. They farmed north of Comfrey all their married lives. They were members of Faith Lutheran Church in Comfrey until 1997 when New Hope Lutheran Church was built. Ima was one of the original church basement ladies. She was involved in Ladies Aid, was a Sunday School Teacher and Superintendent, was in the church choir and This and That Club.She enjoyed bus trips and playing cards. Ima loved going to her children’s and grand children’s events. She was very proud of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great granddaughter.
Ima is survived by her children, Loren (Donna) Wing, James (Rita) Wing, Bruce (Jan) Wing, Robin (Greg) Schwaegerl, Julie (Brian) Johnson, Debbie (Steve) Schwaegerl; 21 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren with one more coming in May; one great, great granddaughter and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eadell; daughter, Sharon; son-in-law, Marlin; great grandsons, Nathan and Bennett; sisters, Elvie and Roslyn; and her parents, Peter and Edith Freeman.
