Grace Raddatz age 93, of Springfield, MN died on October 13, 2024, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield, MN.

Grace LaMay Raddatz was born on June 23, 1931 to Otto and Alice (Albrecht) Huebert in Cottonwood County, MN. She graduated from Sanborn Public Schools. On December 10, 1949, Grace was united in marriage to Francis “Wimpy” Raddatz at Jeffers Lutheran Church. In the early 1950’s, they moved to Springfield. Starting in the early 1960’s Grace worked at the Rainbow Cafe and then in 1965 she started to work at the Blossom Bar for over 28 years as a waitress. She was a former member of the Springfield American Legion Auxiliary. Grace enjoyed volunteering, word puzzles, quilting, cross word puzzles, latch hook, flower gardening, fishing, and walking for exercise.
She is survived by her children – Doug (Darla) Raddatz of Springfield, David (Nancy) Raddatz of Redwood Falls, and Donna (Danny) Becker of New Ulm; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; siblings – Kenny (Kathy) Huebert of New Ulm, JoAnn (Robert) Guggisberg of New Ulm, Sherry (Kenny) Groebner of Springfield, and Vernon (Alice) Huebert of Windom; sister-in-law Darlene Huebert of Redwood Falls; and numerous nieces and nephews. Grace was preceded in death by her parents; husband Francis “Wimpy” Raddatz; and siblings – Dorothy (Donald) Nazarenus, Wallace Huebert and Shirley Domeier.
Memorials are preferred to St. John Lutheran Home Foundation or Brown County Humane Society in New Ulm.
