Glen Arthur Mattison

Glen Arthur Mattison passed away peacefully, Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield at the age of 84.

Glen was born on November 21, 1938, to Arthur and Harriet (Erickson) Mattison in Highwater Township. He graduated in 1956 from Lamberton High School. On July 31, 1960, he married the love of his life, Twila M. Sell in Windom. Glen and Twila raised four children – Cheryl, Gaylen, Paula and Gary. He farmed the family farm until retiring in 2015 at the age of 77.

He is survived by his four children – Cheryl (Doug) Prins of Redwood Falls, Gaylen (Diane) Mattison of Lamberton, Paula (John) Meidl of Lakeville, Gary (Penny) Mattison of Lamberton; grandchildren – Alecia (Christopher) Young, Megan (Ben) Olsem, Gavin (Morganne) Mattison, Joshua Meidl, Jessica (Kevin) O’Connor, Josiah Meidl and soon to be baby (Gary) Mattison; great grandchildren – Isabelle Young, Aiden Young, Emma Olsem, Raelynn Mattison, Macy Mattison and Luca Mattison; sister, Arlette (Gene) Raveling; sister-in-law, Shirley Mattison. Glen was preceded in death by his wife, Twila; parents, Arthur and Harriet; borthers, Arlo, Obert, Kenneth and Robert Mattison; and sister-in-law, LeeAnn Mattison.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
